Family-owned since 1950’s.
Nickell Company, LLC, is a family-owned company with deep construction industry roots. We’re a third-generation operation; you could say the business is in our blood.
Our family business has grown by leaps and bounds in the past 25+ years, now providing a complete range of services for commercial and residential projects of all sizes and specifications.
We’ve built solid relationships in our community, and we’re honored to call many of our repeat clients our friends. We’re proud to be known throughout the region as the diversified, reliable contractor Middle Tennessee can trust.
1950's
1970's
Paul’s two sons, Skip and Dwight, followed in his footsteps and opened their own asphalt business in 1977. The brothers operated the business together for two decades, until Dwight and his wife, Shiela, started Nickell Company as their own family business.
2000's
Dwight and Sheila’s sons, Grant and Paul, were raised on concrete and asphalt. The boys started sealing driveways and pouring concrete with their dad from an early age, destined to follow the family business tradition.
2020's
Today, Grant and Paul are a vital part of Nickell Company’s leadership, overseeing our concrete and asphalt divisions, respectively.
